The mission of the Russian River Valley Winegrowers is
- To promote the exceptional quality of wine grapes and wines from the Russian River valley of Sonoma County in order to enhance our status as a preeminent growing region.
- To attract visitors to the region so that they may enjoy our wines, food, agricultural diversity, scenic beauty and community.
- To ensure the long-term health of our industry through careful stewardship of our human and natural resources, and sustainable winegrowing practices.
- To uphold the integrity of the Russian River valley Viticultural Area boundary in order to ensure consumer confidence that the wines of the region reflect the true character of the appellation.

It's Nomination Time!
In accordance with RRVW’s bylaws, it is time for our members to submit candidates for nomination. A nominee, either a grower or winery member, must be a member in good standing of the RRVW to be on the Board of Directors. Official election ballots will be emailed via Survey Monkey, on or about October 14, 2011.
